The best Black Friday robot mower deals are genuine cuts on a model that already fits your lawn's size, slopes and layout, measured against the manufacturer's regular list price. The sales have not started yet. Use the next few weeks to shortlist two or three models, note their list prices today, and decide what discount would make you buy.

Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, with Cyber Monday on November 30. For most of North America and the UK that is the off-season for mowing, which is exactly why some brands discount. For more seasonal sales across the garden, see our seasonal deals hub.

Which robot mower categories usually drop?

Look in three places. Outgoing models, when a newer version is listed alongside them. Bundles, such as a mower with a garage, extra blades or an installation kit included. And wire-free models, where several brands now compete on similar specs. Whatever the offer, judge it against the list price you recorded, not the retailer's "was" price.

What a genuine deal looks like

A real discount is measured against a real price. US rules on former-price comparisons (16 CFR 233.1) say a former price should be the actual, bona fide price at which the item was offered to the public on a regular basis. A "was" price the product never really sold at is not a bargain.

Price checks matter. In research published in November 2024, Which? looked at 227 Black Friday deals from eight big UK retailers and found 92 percent were the same price or cheaper at other times of the year. Its advice: compare prices at several retailers and check price history before you buy.

  • Note today's list price. Husqvarna listed the Automower 410 iQ at an MSRP of $2,599.99 and the 435 iQ AWD at $4,999.99 in November 2026. Write down the prices for your shortlist now.
  • Compare like with like. Check the model number, area rating and what is in the box. A cheaper bundle may drop the charging station cover or installation kit.
  • Check who sells it. Buy from the manufacturer or an authorized dealer so the warranty applies.
  • Read the return window. You may not mow until spring. A 30-day return period that starts in November ends long before you know if it suits your lawn.

Specs to check before the sale

Area rating

Manufacturers rate mowers by lawn size in acres or square meters (1 acre is about 4,047 m²). Husqvarna adds a ±20 percent tolerance and a lower figure for irregular lawns: the 410 iQ is rated for 0.5 acre, but 0.25 acre if the shape is complex. Buy for the lawn you have, with some headroom.

Slope

Slope is quoted as a percentage: 100 percent is a 45 degree angle. Husqvarna rates the 410 iQ for 45 percent inside the work area and 15 percent at the boundary, and the all-wheel-drive 435 iQ AWD for 70 percent inside and 50 percent at the edge. Mammotion rates the YUKA mini 2 800 for 45 percent slopes.

Navigation

Boundary-wire mowers follow a cable pegged or buried around the lawn. Wire-free models use satellite positioning (RTK, or EPOS on Husqvarna), cameras or LiDAR, a laser scanner that maps distances. Mammotion says the LUBA 3 AWD combines LiDAR, vision and NetRTK and needs no RTK base station or antenna. The YUKA mini 2 800 uses three cameras and no RTK or cable at all. Satellite signals can weaken under trees and eaves, which is the case for adding cameras or LiDAR.

Cut and runtime

A wider deck covers ground faster. Mammotion lists a 15.7 in (400 mm) cutting width for the LUBA 3 AWD and 7.5 in (190 mm) for the YUKA mini 2 800, which it says covers 200 m² (about 2,150 sq ft) per charge. Height ranges matter if you like a longer lawn: Husqvarna lists about 1 to 4 in (2.5 to 10 cm) for the 410 iQ and 1.2 to 2.8 in (3 to 7 cm) for the 435 iQ AWD.

The models we are watching

Husqvarna Automower 410 iQ

Husqvarna rates the 410 iQ for 0.5 acre with EPOS satellite positioning or a physical wire, radar object detection, a 9.4 in (24 cm) cut and app control over cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

  • Best for: small, open lawns. Skip it if your lawn has many narrow passages or steep banks.

Husqvarna Automower 435 iQ AWD

The 435 iQ AWD is rated for 1.3 acres, 70 percent slopes, and EPOS or wire boundaries, at 60 dB(A).

  • Best for: hillside yards. Skip it if your lawn is flat; you are paying for all-wheel drive you will not use.

Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD

Mammotion lists versions from 1,500 m² up to 10,000 m², with LiDAR, vision and NetRTK positioning, a 400 mm cut and up to 215 minutes of runtime.

  • Best for: large or complex wire-free lawns. Skip it if you need a published slope rating before buying; ask Mammotion first.

Mammotion YUKA mini 2 800

A camera-guided mower for lawns up to 800 m², with no RTK base or wire, 45 percent slope ability and a 20 to 60 mm cutting height.

  • Best for: small gardens with trees that block satellite signals. Skip it if your lawn is over 800 m².

When to buy

  1. Now to mid-November: measure your lawn, shortlist models and record list prices.
  2. Black Friday week (November 23 to 27): compare offers against your notes. Buy only if the price beats the list price you recorded.
  3. Cyber Monday (November 30): a second chance, often with bundle offers.
  4. If nothing qualifies: wait. A robot mower bought in spring loses you nothing, and you avoid a return window that runs out over winter.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving on November 26. Cyber Monday is November 30. Sales often run for longer: Which? tracked a Black Friday fortnight from November 20 to December 1 in its 2023 analysis.

Are Black Friday robot mower deals really cheaper?

Sometimes, but check. In a study published in November 2024, Which? found that 92 percent of the Black Friday deals it analyzed were the same price or cheaper at other times of the year. Compare against the manufacturer's list price and the price history before you buy.

Should I buy a robot mower in November?

It can make sense if a genuine discount appears on a model that fits your lawn. You will not use it until spring in most of North America and the UK, so check the warranty start date and the return window, and store it as the manual directs.

Do I need a boundary wire?

Not always. Husqvarna's EPOS models use satellite positioning, and Mammotion's LUBA and YUKA ranges use combinations of RTK, cameras and LiDAR instead of a perimeter wire. Wire-guided models still work well on simple lawns and can cost less.
